Bringing life to a Herefordshire garden with bold planting design.
Commissioned by a retired couple on the edge of Hereford, this project transformed a plain rectangular lawn into an immersive mass of over 20 species of swaying grasses and vibrant perennials.
This project was taken from concept design through to planting, and seasonal maintenance continues. Images here are shown 16 months from initial planting with 20% of plants yet to put in the ground - the journey continues.
The couple are keen to allow the garden to develop into a self sustaining plant community, providing maximum seasonal interest and provision for the natural world.
